Today we are going to talk about ideas to make your party really shine.

Idea #1

Hire an entertainer.

First you will need to think about what type of entertainment you would want at your event or party. This requires figuring out what age ranges will be attending. You might consider a magician, clown, face painter or a character actor that would come as their favorite cartoon character.

Once you have decide what you think the kids would like, take a little bit of time and look for that type of entertainment. You can check your phone book, Google, local papers or chamber of commerce.

A tip, when you contact them have the following information ready.

How many people attending
What are the age ranges.
Let the performer know if it is indoor or outdoor.
Date and time. Be flexible and possibly have an alternate time to suggest.

Questions for the performer.

Do they perform for the age range you have attending.
What experience do they have in the field.
References you can talk too.

If the entertainer is professional they will be able to answer all your questions and concerns. They will also let you know if they are a good fit for your event.

Please remember that this is how they make a living and it is not an easy job but it is very rewarding for them. Work with them and make sure that both parties know everything they need to do before the event. This way it will turn out to be a win/win for both you and the entertainer. More important the families and children will have a very good time that will be remembered for quite sometime.
